The number of Twenty 20 matches played among the team members will be 60. The fan followers will soon be able to avail the IPL tickets to the respective stadium to watch the matches or can sit back and relax and follow the match on YouTube or Star Sports network.
The eleventh edition of the IPL will be having a single opening ceremony, unlike the last year where eight different opening ceremony was held. The BCCI has allocated a budget of Rs 50 crore. The grand opening ceremony is expected to be on April 6, a day before the first match of the tournament in Mumbai. The IPL governing council has decided to increase the budget, by a significant margin of an amount of Rs 3.5 crore per opening ceremony to Rs 50 crore for one, to build up the IPL event with an international touch to it.
